If your interested in just a place to park, this campground might work. One thing is for sure, there wasn't any kind of customer service when we were there. The office is only open Thursday through Saturday. The sign said to go to the manager's trailer to check in but there wasn't anyone there either. There was power, water, and sewer hook ups and the site was level. From the looks of this campground it was built in the 50's and hasn't been updated since then. Don't waste your time here!

Overall this is an O.K. campground. The first campsite we were given was so uneven and rough that we had to move. Once we found a level campsite everything worked fine. The showers were less than great. This campground is in need of updating. The girls at the front desk said Lake Lanier Islands will most likely close the campground down soon. They now own Shoal Creek, and they are going to put there efforts in to that CG.

A very nice campground. The park is very well maintained and the bathrooms were very clean. The only complaint that anyone could have for this park would be the lack of full hookups, but that's what you get with a COE park. The site was very level and clean as usual.
